This video, together with the booklet offers a wealth of suggestions for the preparation of a wide range of whole foods.
More and more people today have symptoms or warning signals relating to their eating habits, adding further to their stress levels. There are many myths about food and many areas of confusion. Food is the basis of life. We are what we eat, so the quality and variety of food is important. Food awareness is a great starting point on your road to good health.
Food Therapy The essence of healthy eating in Part One answers many of the common questions asked. What should I be eating to feel well? Why do I crave bread or sweet foods? If I do not eat culprit foods like wheat & yeast, dairy, caffeine & sugar, what is left? What can I eat?
Part Two is a practical demonstration in the kitchen on how to cook using the healthier food options in a way that is quick, easy, colourful, delicious and above all fun!
Dr Shamim Daya BM DRCOG is a GP with a special interest in nutritional Medicine. Having experimented with the healing power of foods on herself over the course of several years, her wish is to share these basic principles of healthy eating with those who wish to help themselves, and above all, demonstrate how simple Food Therapy is and how great the rewards are.
