Bio-Identical Hormones and Supplements

” Whilst Bio-Identical Hormones and Supplements may seem natural enough to take, more is not necessarily better. The safe prescribing of hormones should include assessing your Liver’s tolerance and ability to metabolise these adequately as well as regular monitoring, testing and adjusting your dosage requirements. “

Dr Shamim Daya

Dr Daya prescribes Bio-Identical hormones when appropriate based on a combination of regular saliva and blood testing to monitor specific hormone levels.

Whilst hormones and supplements can do wonders for people’s health and sense of well-being, it is possible to take too much which can overload the liver.

For this reason Dr Shamim Daya also incorporates Bio-Meridian and Functional Bio-Chemistry testing to assess and ensure adequate liver function first, before prescribing hormones or supplements, as well as to ensure that the liver can manage or handle the taking of hormones and supplements safely long term.
