Lymph Treatment
Importance of the Lymphatic System:
Although not very well-known, the lymphatic system consists of organs and vessels just as complex as the circulatory system, and just as essential to the survival of the human body since it is a major part of our body's immune system.
Lymph, a colorless fluid, runs alongside the blood vessel system. When the lymph system becomes blocked, lymphatic fluid builds up in the tissues increasing toxicity and pressure within the body.
The lymphatic system, which does not have a pump to help it flow through the body, is designed so that lymph can only flow upward from the extremities (feet and hands) toward the neck where the lymph enters the subclavian vein.
The lymph system is a major eliminative system of the body carrying toxic wastes away from tissues and out of the body. It relies on pressure differentials to pull the wastes through from the tissues and water as a carrier of this fluid.
Imagine the lymphatic system is blocked or congested and wastes are not moving out of the body but instead, the pressure of this congestion is causing all this waste to track back into the tissues, skin and joints etc. This adds further stress to the liver - not an ideal situation and most likely the root of all disease processes.
For this reason it is most important to address the flow of lymph, to eliminate toxic wastes out of the body. It is only when this flow of fluid (blood & lymph) is re-established that the body can absorb & fully benefit from nutrients provided and heal itself.
Whilst the lymphatic system may seem mysterious – it is in fact possible to visibly see areas of lymph congestion (using Thermal Imaging), and measure the function of the lymphatic system (using the Bio Meridian test) as well as treat & disperse any areas of lymph congestion (using Electro lymphatic treatments (ELT) & specifically chosen drainage remedies) to allow the accumulated toxic wastes to flow out of the body.

A major area & focus of lymph nodes exists around the gut so it is also necessary to maintain gut wall integrity or heal a leaky gut to help improve the flow of lymph.
