Case Study 1

46 Years old with a 4 year history of a cyst in her right nipple area.

June 2008 - Mammogram & biopsy diagnosed breast cancer grade 1 – hormone receptor positive.

August 2009 – Had a Sentinel Node biopsy & lumpectomy. She was offered Tamoxifen & Radiotherapy both of which were declined.

From Wholistic perspective risk factors found were - mouthful of mercury fillings & being vegetarian.

Initial Thermal scan showed lymph congestion in both breasts.

Initial Bio- meridian testing confirmed high toxic load & inflammation on the lymph & organ pressure on the endocrine system. She was also found to have a leaky gut, fungal proliferation & deficient in iron, iodine & B vitamins.
Drainage remedies were prescribed (including Essiac) together with supplements to heal the leaky gut and fungus proliferation.

Follow up Bio meridian testing showed a reduction in toxic load, better gut wall integrity and absence of fungus proliferation. She was found to be low in Iron and now showing to Toxic metals – mercury from amalgam fillings.

Next visit using Functional Biochemistry showed high intermediary estrogens (requiring to eat more spinach), low histamine – requiring Thiamine Pyrophospate (Vit B1), Alpha lipoic Acid for a genetic weakness and Hesperinase to combat the inflammation in the right breast.

3 months later had an emergency crisis with a swelling appearing under right armpit and burning sensation over right nipple. Bio – Meridian testing revealed high inflammation in the lymph & organ pressure on the mammary glands. A specific drainage remedy was prescribed and recommendation made as to which quadrant of mercury fillings need to be replaced as a priority.

Had all her amalgam fillings replaced over 2 weeks when back home in Caribbean.

Last visit showed low toxic load, inflammation & organ pressure. Patient reported feeling much better, with more energy since replacement of mercury fillings. Lymph was still her only weak point. Recommended to keep drinking plenty of water, dry skin brushing, to have monthly Electro lymphatic treatments & take a lymph drainage remedy to maintain the flow of lymph on all levels including the cellular level. She continues to take iron, Vitamin C, Omega 3 oils and a multi vitamin.

A follow up check has been arranged for 6 months.

Case 1 Testimonial

My journey began on June 26 2008 when I went for a routine mammogram, which led to a biopsy and being told by the doctor that I had breast cancer and would need to have surgery in three weeks time to remove my right breast and lymph nodes.

At my next appointment, I was told by the doctor that they would only need to remove the lump (which was difficult to locate by hand) and lymph nodes.  It was explained that my cancer was triggered by estrogen/progesterone hormones and it is at stage 1.   At this point I said I would like a second opinion.

I still wanted to get another opinion and scheduled an appointment with a private breast specialist.  His diagnosis – a lump in the right breast and would recommend removal and the sentinel node biopsy. If my results were negative then there would be no need to take further action.

With surgery finally over, the results were negative and zero out of six lymph nodes were affected.  Two weeks later, I received a leaflet for aftercare for breast surgery. The next step was to get me on Tamoxifen and a course of radiation. I left there unconvinced about taking Tamoxifen.

Radiation would require ten sessions and this needed to be done as soon as possible.  I went as far as pre-radiation test where I was ‘dotted and measured’ for radiation.  In this session I was overcome with grief and knew I could not go through with it.

During this time, I had researched alternative methods to radiation and discovered hyperthermia.  I met with the consultant. I did not go this route but was told to find my inner strength and get back the sparkle in my eye.     A friend had sent an email (prior to being diagnosed) on thermal scanning and my internet search led me to Wholistic Medical, as this was the only place in the UK offering this service.

My first meeting with Dr. Daya was in November 2008.  I had my first thermal scan, which indicated lymph congestion around the breast area. To get my lymph moving I was told to do rebound exercises and skin brush. I met with Sheila who carried out bio-meridian testing.  My initial testing showed high toxicity levels, poor gut absorbency and fungus.    I thought I was eating well by eliminating and increasing the intake of certain foods, but this still needed improvement.   I was given supplements to improve lymph drainage, gut absorbency and Essiac for cancer cells.

I met with Tony, a Kinesiologist, he helped pinpoint deficiencies and was absolutely great in curing my muscular pains and spasms.

With each visit my levels improved and in April 2009 I had my mercury fillings removed (I have had these in for over 40 years).  The difference to my health has been incredible.   My energy level is up, no more fatigue.  Pre Menstrual Symptoms are non-existent.

I am happy I followed my intuition and my research which led me to the Wholistic Medical Centre.

Thank you Dr. Daya and to your team.
