Having gathered all the relevant and necessary information from the different perspectives of testing, it becomes clear what the priority is or in which direction the treatment should begin.
Patient individuality is our prime concern - what helps one person may not suit another with the same condition. With the help of the various tests and tools we use to gather important information about a person from different perspectives, we then take the trouble to test from a selection of remedies, which is the most compatible and appropriate for that person at that moment in time.
Our range of remedies include the use of:
- Conventional medication
- Nutritional support
- Bio-identical Hormones
- Herbal Medicines (Western and Chinese)
- Flower remedies
- Homeopathic remedies
- Structural treatment recommendations

Treatments for Emotional / Mental Blocks
|
It is important to acknowledge and test if there is an emotional or mental block interfering with one's healing process. If this shows on CRA testing as a priority, then it is worthwhile to pursue this line further to help acknowledge and then move through this block. With the help of Psycho-Kineseology one is able to relate this emotional block to a certain organ, a specific feeling associated with it and the age that this relates to as a reference point.
With this information we can then select from a flower remedy, homeopathic remedies or set of herbal mixture which is the best to help move through this block. In addition, it may be necessary to have a session with Time Therapy as a means of releasing this block.

Water and Electrolytes
|
Water is one of the basic fundamental requirements by the body and has numerous important functions - hydration, lubrication, a carrier of nutrients and toxic waste products, providing suppleness, movement and nourishment at a very simple level to all the organs, muscles and tissues within the body.
As with many things, it is the quality of water that counts, its surface tension and ability to truly penetrate and hydrate intra-cellularly. There are many controversial theories as to which is the best water or filtration system - reverse osmosis or distilled water? And there is no simple answer!
Water is not fully complete in its potential, charge or life force without the essential minerals or electrolytes namely sodium, magnesium, calcium and potassium - another way of describing basic, natural, unadulterated, good quality salt. These electrolytes are a necessary part of hydration, providing support especially to the endocrine / hormonal system, particularly the thyroid. We test from a range of different liquid minerals and electrolytes as to which is most required.

Food and diet
|
We consider the gut as being the first line of defence to the body and therefore place importance to this part of the body. It is not only important what we eat, avoiding the common food intolerances but also how well we digest or process this food when it arrives in the stomach as well as how well we eliminate toxic wastes from our bowels.
This brings in the awareness of different foods available, the need for variety and moderation, the role of digestive enzymes and bowel Cleanses. We also bring in the chinese philosophy on healthy eating, looking at the nature and energy of food from a different perspective such as “hot”, “cold” and “neutral” foods.
In addition we discuss the controversial subject of raw foods and juicing helping you to make informed choices based on your body type or constitution. Is your spleen strong enough for example to take on raw foods and juices? For some people they can and therefore do benefit from this yet others do not do or feel well on such a “cold” programme.
There is no one specific diet that we recommend but what does seem to apply to most people is the need to eat sufficient protein, fibre and fat in all meals to stabilise their blood sugar levels. Correcting this all too common problem of hypoglycaemia is the biggest challenge of all and there is an art to doing this in a balanced, sensible, enjoyable, colourful and palatable way.

Lifestyle Changes - exercise, sleep, relaxation
|
Ultimately, in addition to good eating habits, these lifestyle issues are the basic foundation and maintenance to good health. In many cases, making the relevant and necessary simple lifestyle changes may be all that is needed for the body to re-establish its normal rhythm of health and well being. Once this basic foundation is established, it makes other treatments hold and work more effectively.
Unfortunately, there is no pill that takes the place of food, exercise, good sleep and relaxation or meditation. For this reason many doctors are now prescribing water, exercise, meditation and good food all as “medicine”. Activities such as these, which are designed by nature, do a far better job of getting the body to function correctly than too much interference from chemicals, pills and potions.

Addictions - Correcting Hypoglycaemia
|
The most common addictions in our world today are to alcohol, smoking, caffeine, sugar, bread and carbohydrates. They contribute to a multitude of organ stress and dysfunction and in the long term destroy us, our relationships and our quality of life.
The best way out of the addiction habit is not to swop one addiction for another but to focus our time and energy on stabilising those blood sugar levels with sensible eating patterns, drinking sufficient water, supporting the liver, adrenals and thyroid as well as undertaking a gentle and enjoyable exercise programme.
This article by Dr Shamim Daya gives an overview on the all too common phenomenon of Hypoglycaemia, and the importance of stabilising our blood sugar levels. (Download PDF)

Vitamins, Minerals and Essential Fatty Acids
|
It helps to have been tested with a Hair Mineral Analysis to know exactly what your individual nutritional status is and not guess with taking supplements just for the sake of it. After all, why take zinc for example, if you don't need it?
We take the trouble to test from a wide range of different vitamins and minerals as to which is best suited for you. This is usually a 2-3 month recommendation only, after which time it is important to re- evaluate and take only what is necessary from a different variety or selection of supplements. With the Essential Fatty Acids it is important to be selective in choosing a good quality product - especially fish oils which should be free from pollutants and toxic metals.

Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy
|
As we grow older, our hormones change - everyone goes through a change of life - men and women - which bring on a lot of adverse symptoms. Over the past 20 years, hormone replacement has been available in the form of Bio-identical hormones. These hormones are chemically identical to what is being produced naturally in men and women.
The clinical experience with using these more natural hormones indicate that women especially, do not get the untoward symptoms and other health risks that have been associated with synthetic and animal-derived hormone replacement therapy. Keeping your hormones in balance is imperative for your long-term vitality. Hormones are the supervisors of the function of every cell in your body. Declining hormone levels have a straight line connection with the chronic debilitating diseases of ageing such as arthritis, osteoporosis, mental decline, cancer, obesity, impotence, loss of libido, incontinence, high blood pressure and a host of other problems.
It is very important and helpful to measure exactly what your hormone profile shows, unique to you. This establishes a baseline from which the correct combination of hormones can be prescribed. Saliva Hormone Profiles are also recommended and available. The urine analysis of these hormones have been found to be a reliable method of checking hormone levels within the body. This test checks for up to 9 different hormones including the three different estrogens - Estriol, Estrone and Estradiol.

When taking hormone replacement, even when using the natural bio-identical hormones, it is important to check to see that the liver is functioning adequately and this is best monitored using any one of the 3 different forms of energetic testing that we use in our clinic - namely, the Electro-dermal screening, Contact Reflex Analysis and Traditional Chinese Medicine methods.
At our Wholistic Medical centre, we take the trouble to test from a variety of different forms of Bio-identical hormones. They come in Sub-lingual drops, capsules, tablets, pessaries and many different cream forms. We test to see which of these forms is most compatible for a person at that moment in time. Every 6-12 months we re-evaluate the urine hormone profile to monitor the dose and route of administration of these hormones.
Thyroid levels are best monitored through standard blood tests including the full profile of checking for thyroid antibodies. We also get an indication of thyroid function with the hair mineral analysis, through our energy testing methods and of course the patients classic symptoms and signs. We also test from a range of different natural thyroid hormone brands and combinations as to which is most suitable for each individual person.

Herbs
|
We test from a selection of good quality western and Chinese herbs to balance the body especially because herbs work in a smoother, softer and gentler action to bring the body back to a harmonious state.
As with other remedies it is so important to use the purest and top grade quality of herbs, which unfortunately is proving more and more difficult to obtain as much of what is easily available is adulterated in some way. Of course herbs work much better, quicker and more safely if they are in their most pure state. The only western herbalists we know who takes the trouble to source only the best quality of herbs is Richard Schulze in America, and Herbs Hands Healing in the UK. Of course this makes his products more expensive but they are strong and work! His bowel cleanse programme, also based on a formula of powerful herbs, is excellent as part of a detox programme and recommended for everyone to do at least once a year. (See bowel cleansing products) There is also an assortment of herbal teas that support different organs such as the liver and kidney.

Drainage Remedies
|
During the last 100 years, doctors have developed specific organ detoxifying formulas now known as “drainage remedies”. These remedies are crucial as part of any detox programme because they encourage elimination of toxins on a deep cellular level.
There is no point in shifting toxins just from A to B within the body. Rather, these toxins should be eliminated on all levels including the cellular level. The optimum in chelation therapy as part of toxic metal elimination is to minimise side effects by using these drainage remedies.
A drainage remedy has two main characteristics:
1. It increases circulation in a specific area of the body
2. It is both biochemically and vibrationally active.
There is a wide range of drainage remedies to choose from and these too are best selected for the individual person using either the Electro-dermal screening method or Contact Reflex analysis.

Structural Remedies
|
Structural imbalances are important to address because they too can cause a block in the flow of energy round the body. These subtle imbalances, if they are a priority are often detected whilst being tested with Contact Reflex Analysis and/or Electro-dermal screening. It is then advisable to have this corrected using some natural structural treatment such as Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy, Bowen technique, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, or Shiatsu.

Dental treatments
|
It is a common fact and finding that 95% of chronic low grade infections are found above the head and neck region, in the mouth, gum and teeth. With this in mind together with each tooth corresponding to a particular organ along its meridian line can explain how that particular organ becomes overly stressed and the immune system overly challenged. It is therefore important to consider the root of a problem as stemming from the mouth or at least to include the mouth, teeth and gum issues as part of an overall assessment of a given disease process.
The other major mouth or dental issue is the consideration of metal toxicity with the presence of mercury amalgam fillings. This is a huge and controversial subject in itself as to the benefits and risks or pitfalls of amalgam filling removal.
See www.kingsburyholisticdentist.co.uk for more information.
There are two good reasons to consider amalgam filling removal and replacements:
1. These toxic metals slowly compromise us by using up our precious reserves of essential minerals namely, Iron, Zinc, Selenium and sulphur.
So as we gradually get older, these good minerals become depleted and the toxic metals, with its destructive effects, become more apparent. The older we get, the more vulnerable we become to the harmful effects of these toxic metals. They also have a direct toxic effect upon the glandular hormonal system creating chaos within this delicate system.
2. Removing the source of these toxic metals in the mouth is only half the story.
The other, and often more difficult half of the story is to try to eliminate them from within the key organs in the body. So long as the metals are in the mouth leaking more toxic fumes each moment then it becomes a pointless exercise trying to eliminate them from deep within the body.
However, there are certain conditions I believe that should be considered in planning the replacement programme. Firstly, one should be strong enough in the gut, liver and adrenal system to embark on such an intense regime. Secondly, one should choose a wholistic mercury free dentist who will take all the necessary precautions, time and care to do the job carefully and systematically.
If one has a mouthful of amalgam fillings then it is recommended to remove no more than a quadrant at any one time allowing the body to rest and recover before the next removal or replacement.
At our Wholistic Medical Centre, we check and prepare you well prior to your amalgam removals and we also provide the aftercare support needed, again testing and choosing from a wide range of specific remedies to support the liver and protect other key organs including the important use of drainage remedies.

Energy re-balancing with EMC2
|
 |
We live in a complex world with many invisible factors such as environmental pollutants, sprays and chemicals detrimental to our precious immune system.
Whilst the human body can cleverly adapt to any new and damaging influence, this process of adaptation takes time.
The concept of energy balancing is to address exactly such invisible negative factors that hinder and interfere with our healing process.
Whilst conventional medicine as well as many integrative, complementary methods can bring about some dramatic results in healthcare, they cannot encompass or deal with all the negative influences that affect us.
For this reason, it becomes necessary to use energy re-balancing alongside other methods of healthcare to address these subtle yet powerful invisible forces to minimise the toxic load that accumulates within us from all directions.
Five good reasons to consider adding energy re-balancing to your healthcare programme with EMC2:
1. It is a professional, efficient and systematic method that works on clearing negative frequencies 24 hours a day.
2. It is able to deal with a multitude of frequencies in a modern, highly technological way that would otherwise be impossible to do.
3. It involves no travelling, making appointments or taking pills yet your life force, reflecting your immune system capacity, improves day by day to a level that gives you back your full healing potential.
4. If we are subjected to such invisible and hidden negative factors in our environment, especially without our consent, at least there exists such a system or method to equally cancel out the detrimental effects incurred by these negative frequencies.
5. This amazing system allows you to live in a world where you can be fully conscious, with the opportunity to express your true potential.
For more information we highly recommend reading “The Sanctuary - the path to consciousness” by founders Stephen Lewis and Evan Slawson.
