Case Histories

Below are two examples of our patients who have benefited from early detection of suspicious findings.

Case History 1

This 23 year old female has a poor lifestyle – eating badly, not exercising, heavy smoker (30 a day!). She was prompted to have a breast scan when her aunt in her early 40s’ was diagnosed with breast cancer.
1st Visit - January 2004

Indicates lymph congestion
Reported as consistent with findings related to fibrocystic breasts
2nd Visit - April 2004

3 month follow up
Picture worsening—Increased vascular activity. Prompted patient to take action and make some lifestyle changes.

3rd Visit - February 2005

Patient has made some minor improvements to diet over the last year,
but most significantly has not smoked since July 2004.
She has also been on the AIM programme since September 2004.

As you can see there, is a marked improvement with vascular activity greatly reduced.

“It was a real shock to see how much damage I had done to my body at such a young age and I’m so pleased that this has given me the opportunity to put things right. I am amazed at the difference that giving up smoking has made, and it has now made me look at the rest of my lifestyle to continue making improvements. I will definitely have regular annual scans to make sure I’m on the right track!”

Case History 2

This 57 year old lady came to see Dr Daya for a post menopausal health check, including a routine breast scan. As she was showing no physical symptoms around the breast area, so she was horrified to see that things were not right. The patient also followed up with an ultrasound and mammogram at Dr Daya’s recommendation, to correlate the DITI findings. Both results were negative.
1st Visit July 2003 2nd Visit September
Further investigation found that she was in need of bio-identical hormone support, she had metal toxicity in the liver due to her mouth full of amalgam fillings, and there were improvements which could be made to her diet and lifestyle.

3rd Visit December 2003 4th Visit October 2004
This patient was keen to be proactive and embarked on a six month restorative health plan, including dietary and lifestyle changes which have now become her normal way of life.

You can see the marked improvement just 6 months after her first scan, and almost a year on from her 3rd visit she continues to show improvement, and feels great. She had no reason to suspect when she had her first scan that something was brewing, but is relieved to have been able to reverse what could have become something more sinister.
